Training:  BA Hons Degree in Creative and Performing Arts - Newcastle Polytechnic

 

Theatre Credits Include: David spent many years in rural touring theatre, working for companies such as NTC Touring Theatre, Quondam and Cleveland Theatre Company. Three seasons followed at Theatre By The Lake in Keswick where he performed in, among others, Frozen, The Birthday Party, Seasons    Greetings, Kiss of the Spiderwoman, The Recruiting Officer and Our Country's Good. As a core member of the acting company at The Mercury Theatre, David appeared in over twenty productions including, King David Man of Blood, The Lonesome West, Coriolanus, Twelfth Night, The Winter's Tale, Of Mice and Men, The Grapes of Wrath, Arsenic and Old Lace, Absent Friends and half a dozen  pantomimes. David has worked at The Globe Theatre in The Knight of the Burning Pestle, The Inn at Lydda and a two month stint on the global tour of Hamlet. He was a member of the understudy/ensemble cast in The Red Barn at The National, in 2017 he appeared in The West End playing Sheldon Marcus in Gore Vidal's The Best Man and in 2018 was part of the understudy company on Admissions at Trafalgar Studios and the subsequent tour. Most recently David was understudy to Alan Cummings and Karl Johnson for the Endgame Company at The Old Vic.
